2 Chronicles 6

2 Chronicles 6:12-42

Solomon does 3 things:

1. Builds a __temple______ for God.

2. Offers a __sacrifice_____ to God.

3. He __preaches_____ on behalf of God.

The presence of God changes everything!
2 Chronicles 1:6-7

Lessons learned from Solomon’s prayer:

1. God doesn’t dwell in man-made temples, but in temples made of man. [2 Chron. 6:18; 7:16; 1 Cor. 6:19-20; 2 Cor. 6:16; John 2:18-22]

2. Sin is present in every man. [2 Chron. 6:36; Rom. 3:9-10]

3. A sacrifice must be made before entering the presence of The Lord. [2 Chron. 5:6; 2 Chron. 7:4; Heb. 9:24-26]
