What an interesting weekend we had.  Pastor Dave was preaching on how God understands anger.  We (and by we I mean me) had the brilliant idea of doing the song “God of wrath” as an intro to the message.  We listened to it, rehearsed it, created a video to introduce it, rehearsed it again, then rehearsed it again and finally decided to ditch it about 10 minutes before the service started.  I’m glad we did.  It was just too weird.  Sorry Crowder…  it’s a great song, just not something that works in a Church setting…  at least not our Church setting.  I have to say that the band adjusted well.  I’m so lucky to have such a flexible team of musicians!!!
