I was looking over my old blog and realized that I really enjoyed writing about our worship experiences. So it’s back!
I’ll start this off by sharing the changes we’ve gone through as a ministry over the last few months. Coming off of an incredible 6 weeks of a “School of Worship” that we did @ the Church some of the musicians laid out a challenge. They had a desire to up the game a little (who doesn’t)… and that’s just what we did.
They made a commitment to rehearse on a regular basis if I would allow them to play together the majority of the time. Previously I would just put together a hodge-podge of teams trying to rotate players as much as possible. They’ve kept their part of the bargain and of course I’ve had to keep mine (it doesn’t hurt that the drummer does the scheduling for me now). 😉
I have to say that the music on Sundays has gone to a whole other level because of this change. I can’t wait to see what God does in the next few months as we get even tighter and tighter.
I highly recommend it!
