Highlight: I think the highlight of this week would have to be when we did “Here I Am To Worship” in English and Spanish…  That’s right, Bilingual Worship.  I sang the first verse and chorus in English, Jul sang the 2nd verse and chorus in Spanish and then we sang the bridge and chorus together, Jul in Spanish and I in English.  A lot of people are surprised when I tell them that I’m Bilingual.  But it’s safe to say that as the Hispanic population continues to grow in our Church so will the Bilingual Worship!

Challenge: Many would think the fact that our drummer Rick has only been drumming for about 6 weeks would be the biggest challenge, however it was quite the contrary.  In fact, Rick is one of those guys that just gets it.  He’s just a natural drummer and did an incredible job!  Actually, the biggest challenge that we faced was the sound.  We’re still not really sure what happened, but we do know that while sound check went very well, when the service started our monitors we’re virtually non-existent.  I hate it when that happens.  I think there’s a little gremlin that sneaks in and turns the monitor amps down in between the sound check and the service.  Do you have the same gremlins?
